The strawberry blonde kalak bubbled with excitement at the thought of moving. She knew that her brother was not happy about it, but she was still too young to really grasp what was happening. She just saw this as a new adventure, new lands to be explored and new sights to see. Who wouldn’t want to do that? Ellie didn’t realize that she was leaving her home forever, and that she would not be returning to the lands where she was born. She saw this trip with Hope as some sort of vacation. With an excited wiggle, the young femme followed the group through the trees, vibrant violet eyes taking in all the new things that were around them. Her pelt shimmered in the sunlight as they traveled, letting anyone that might spot them know about her unique breed and their glowing pelts. She didn’t yet know that she was different than other wolves. To her, all shone with a brilliant light. Ellie couldn’t imagine a wolf not glowing like her and her siblings.
To the young pup she felt like they traveled forever, when really it was not that long. Hope took good care of them and made sure they had plenty of time to rest between travels. After another long day of traveling, it seemed that they had made it to some sort of destination. Hope explored a den for them, and once she deemed it safe, she encouraged the pups in. Ellie’s star shaped pupil’s widened to take in more light when she walked into the darker den, ears perked to listen to anything that might be lingering in here, though she knew really there was nothing if Hope thought it okay. Her sister, Nefelibata, tried to sneak out to do her own exploring, but Hope knew her sister’s antics and easily saw her, scooping her up and keeping her in the den. Ellie smiled to her sister and brother, wondering what they thought of this new place and the future adventures they could have here.
The elder wolf spoke up before Ellie had a chance to, telling them to stay in the den. "Come and nestle in here young ones, I'll bring you back some treasures." Peregrine was already curling up to sleep, so Ellie padded over to her sister. ”Where are we? What do you think Hope will bring back for us?” After a few moments though, Ellie too grew tired and she curled up near her brother to nap as well. She didn’t doze for long before Hope had returned, and the strawberry blonde pup jumped to her paws, stifling a yawn as she padded over to see what treasures she was about to see. There were feathers and shells, and Peregrine’s eye caught the bluejay’s feather and quickly grabbed it. Blue had always been his favorite color, so Ellie was not surprised. She went for a lighter hued shell, feelings its smooth surface with her paw before scooping it up delicately with her jaws and placing it in front of her. ”Yah, thanks Hope! These are cool, where did you find them? Can you take us to see?” Excitement of the thought of seeing more of the world made her bubble with questions and excitement. There was still so much of this world to discover.
