Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Ophiuchus
35" 142Lbs - Of Zaphkiel & Astrid
Ophiuchus wasn't sure what to do with all the rain. He could have sworn it had been non-stop for the better part of a week now. It was ridiculous. That didn't stop him from going for a walk though. The pale grey male had a full belly, so there wasn't a need to hunt right now. Even if he was hungry, most prey creatures were taking shelter from the downpour.

It seemed to have let up to some degree. That didn't stop his long, thick coat from being more than just a little damp. He wasn't soaked down to his skin, but he could certainly feel the extra weight from the rain as he moved through the woodlands. Ophi was not far from Taviora's borders. The young adult was not trying to go on some grand adventure today. No, it was just a matter of stretching his legs... And maybe find some fresh sprouting mushrooms after all the good rain they had been having.

His stimulant of choice was a fungus, and amidst the leaf litter after a good rain was the best time to find his prize. Ophi might not be over lucky just yet though. Too much rain would drown them out. It was part of why he chose to root about the forest floor while going for a walk while the rain had let up at least a little bit. There was no telling for how long things would be at a drizzle before the next downpour though.
