Generally these jobs are created for service provision only & taking-off the burden from trainees. The service gap thus created inform of extra clinics, injections, minors, calls, outofhour on-calls, casuality clinics, followup clinics will be on shoulders of staff doctors. These are booked full to capacity & can be over-booked. In future there maybe evening clinics for capacity enhancement in service provision. This is a general rule of thumb for these posts.
