This world was far different than Rahios - he knew that much. And stringing along the alpha of the shadow cloaked land was a simple ploy to observe and learn. The otherworldly beast had followed her path from Mona Toforan after first inspecting its borders on almost all sides. There was little to be told of the territory that slept in the darkness. All sounds from within were dulled or silenced and the darkness was too thick for even his keen eyesight. When he had picked up on her trail and followed it from the realm, he found that she had lead him to a peculiar area that was barren of any foliage or rocks. Large crystal structures created a circular barrier that her scent disappeared into and a heavy fog clung to the earth surrounding it. The stench of old blood and bodily fluids hung heavy over the area and it was then that he knew of this land’s customs. It was there that they would meet to fight - more official than he has ever seen before.

There it was that she waited for him to arrive but their day of bloodshed would be saved for another time. He had turned away from the ominous battleground to seek things elsewhere and to eventually find his fellow Exoticans a temporary living arrangement.

The Exotican monstrosity makes his way deeper south in search of these things and eventually finds at least one of which would satisfy him for a short time. The thunderous downpour was nothing unusual to the titan - in Rahios they were frequented by warm-weather storms - but he was especially wary of quick flooding. However, here on the shores of a vast sea, he was still far enough away from the roiling waves that crashed in rhythmic dances. Near to the edge of the coastal foliage was a starkly obsidian male who appeared to be choking back… something. Vomit? A tear? Who would know.

Hyperion decided to figure it out.

Though, as he was approaching from the east it appeared that the recoiling male had issued a warning to someone in the bushes to the north. How peculiar this visit has turned out to be. Hyperion continues to saunter casually toward the repulsed brute as another makes himself known from the cover of the trees. He is cloaked in the same inky black that the other male sports but his eyes are a startling red. Aside from his overtly long fangs, this newcomer could have been kin to one he knew long ago - though it was highly unlikely. As Hyperion continued to make his way closer he was eventually within the vicinity to be considered part of the discourse.

He had much in the way of advantage in comparison to size, but was never one to bring attention to it or boast of his prowess. His presence alone speaks for all that he would ever need to. With an advantage in height and weight neither of these strangers pose much of a threat to the Exotican hellion yet he regards them both the same. If he were born under a different name then perhaps they would be part of the same thread; but fate did not make it so. His lean, muscular body remains standing as his lengthy tail comes to rest against the drenched sand in his wake. Massive paws flex into the malleable earth as he feels it contort under the pressure and his black and red eyes move from one mouthing brute to the other.

A devilish smirk, characteristic of his personality, finds its way onto his features.

”These… verbal displays. They seem to be a waste of your time; are they not?” His red-ringed eyes blink away the droplets of rain that fall too close to them as he looks down toward the vampire vagrant.
