Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Who was she? There was something familiar about the woman that had come for her - her energy, her colours, her essence perhaps - and yet Eto had been wholly unable to pinpoint just what the familiarity was. Maternal, perhaps, or something akin to it. Then again, had Eto ever been shown such attention? Likely, she had simply been made to feel safe by the woman's approach, something rare and so, a curiosity she wished to investigate further. Zelda's warmth was a rare comfort and Eto moved after it like a moth to a flame as she was whisked out of Asteraia and into the wilds beyond. They moved in silence but it simply gave Eto time to work out just what was happening.

But she still blinked in surprise when they did slow and the woman deemed her free. She paused mid-stride, her head jerked to a tilt as she searched her rescuer's eyes for any hint of deceit. Ah, nothing. Her head jerked to the opposite side as Zelda spoke again. Teza. The name was familiar! It made Eto's lips twitch up into a grin, her eyes suddenly lighting up from within as her tail brushed in several broad waves as she took a bouncing stride forward. "Teza!" She repeated the name with a stout nod, as if his very name itself was a fact. "Have been trying to get to him! Yes, for many moons. So many moons...but always stopped. Always slowed." She sighed, an ear having twitched back towards Asteraia with contempt before she closed her eyes and huffed. The huff seemed to exhale whatever agitation she had felt towards Asteraia - for now, she thought only of Taviora, Teza, even Solstice and her rabbit tucked away in the folds of the woodland.

But when her eyes opened, there was the slightest flicker of suspicion behind them. "Would...am I allowed there?" She had to ask. She had been stolen, freed and so who knew what else she ought to expect.
