He tried not to bother her too much. He was a rather independent man most of his life. However, once she...explained what happened to her between them...well, he was rather fascinated and confused. He knew of pups, but not of how they came about. It really was an odd thing to think about...that he helped make pups that are now in her stomach. Weird really.
He wanted to see what would happen when she gave birth, so he was sure to stick around just enough. If she allowed him near, he would be. Today, he watched from a distance as he normally did as she suddenly sprinted into the field pack. He stood in attention, and watched how she seemed to run...differently. He had felt that the field Queen did not quite like him because of the encounter with her and his brother...but when he then heard the cries of Grim, those thoughts quickly did not matter anymore. He may have let some time pass, but he felt the need to go.
It took him a bit to find the den, and he smelled blood the moment he came to the entrance. His nose wrinkled in reaction. It was HER blood. What the hell was going on? He felt a growl come to his throat. Did someone attack her? He needed to go in to make sure. With a huff he sticks his large head into the den, seeing Grim and being overwhelmed with blood. He didn’t even notice the two pups yet.
”What the HELL is going on?” he say roughly, blue eyes wildly looking around for some sort of intruder but spotting nothing...initially, until he sees two wiggly...things by her belly. His ears prick forward and he does not recognize them as wolf pups. He bares his teeth at them.
”Why do you let them eat you like that? Are you mad?” he asks firmly, eyes wide and lip twitching, waiting for the moment she gives the command to kill them if need be.
