Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

I am, I admit, a little surprised that Zion is the first to arrive. Though his siblings have begun to grow, it seems he has not; he is shorter than they, narrower, perhaps even likely to be smaller than Nari and yet he does not act the part. I try not to ponder his lineage too often though I am hesitant to believe such small size can hail from a bloodline such as my own - though perhaps it is more my mother speaking. Her acceptance of Eva and Badar despite their flaws is a curious thing...I wonder how deep her intuition goes.

In any case, I greet him like I would any other - I move towards him, head low as I growl a greeting before hailing him to the icy shoreline. Behind him, I can hear Badar on fast paws, moving aside as she barrels through the tree line and across the beach to reach Zion. She tumbles about him and I do little to interrupt them; instead, I move back towards the direction they came, issuing another call lest any others wish to join in the excursion. If not, I do not mind. In fact, it will be easier to keep my eyes on only two of them.

With an ear turned towards the path, I go back to Zion and Badar then. I watch out towards the island then - "Before Glorall was Glorall, the island was no island. They called it Litherum." I say it nonchalantly, probing in a sense to see whether they are interested in tales today or merely exploring the newness of it all.
