Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Ah, a new call? In such times, it is unusual. It is neither one of political summonings nor one of implied aggression - new, completely and wholly new, this voice is. And so I ensure I am the first and fastest to respond, cutting across the territory to intercept before any curious eyes might find their way to Glorall's borders. Sometimes, I must admit, having such close neighbors is quite the bother. It is not Arturio that I worry will sniff out a newcomer but rather Blackthorne - he has been quiet lately, after all, something I doubt can last long.

I find her eventually, a slight pant to my breath as I finally break the tree line and begin loping towards her. I take my time watching her now that I am aware that she is alone; I do not recognize her face and her scent tells me nothing though she smells of wildflowers. No pack, I suppose, and no recent contact with many others...so I must wonder why she has come here. I have no doubt my curiosity is obvious enough as I finally take pause in front of her, my head tilting slightly as I meet her eyes.

"Welcome to Glorall, stranger," I finally greet her as my head straightens, the smallest inclination towards a nod of greeting. "Though, I hope your position of stranger shall not last long." I invite her to make herself known though I do my best to ensure I do not sound all too...suspicious of her. Even as a loner, she surely knows just how strange a place Moladion has become.
