Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Indeed, the dark times that had befallen Moladion had not gone unnoticed to the young wolf. Even the loners knew of the dangers inhabiting the south. Rumors of wolves disappearing in the night, only for them to emerge weeks later from the swamps. Tikal wondered if one of these wolves had been responsible for the death of her brother. She knew it was dangerous to be alone, without the protection of a pack. Truth be told, she hadn't been sure where to go initially.

Asteraia had fallen, only to rise once again under the rule of a vicious queen that the dark girl wanted nothing to do with. Her family had long since left the plains, scattered to the far reaches of the world. There was only one wolf now who seemed to matter the most to her. He had come to her when she needed him and her soul longed to be by his side. Pagan has smelled of sea salt and sand when he had found her and so, to Glorall she went.

In these times, the ocean pack had seemed quiet. It was this and Pagan that drew her to its borders. Seeing it now, though it seemed to lack the wildflowers of Asteraia, Tikal found herself liking it more and more. The movement of another wolf caught her white eyes, and she watched as the large, alpha male approached her. First impressions are important, she could hear her father saying. Standing up and keeping her tail slightly tucked between her legs, she was the model of submission. The last thing she wanted was to upset her host.

Finally, he spoke and her first impressions of him were that of a friendly, albeit curious, wolf. She bowed her head in respect and acknowledgement of his greeting. "Well met, good sir. My name is Tikal, daughter of Ankh and Viserys. I come seeking shelter within Glorall in the hopes of both finding a home and a family." Perhaps her introduction was a bit too formal, but she felt the situation called upon formality.

She left out her true desire for joining, though she hadn't lied. For many moons, Tikal had felt lost. Now that she was an adult, she didn't know what she was meant to do. Perhaps being with a pack would give her a sense of purpose. "I'm still young and inexperienced, I won't lie, but I am eager to learn and would like to help Glorall in any way I can."
