Yesterday just after 5pm my wife and i spotted a mountain lion crossing the road in front of us. It was on savage hill road about 100 yards from mill street. It crossed the road and ran into a yard and out of sight. My wife spotted one last month just about a quarter mile from here when it crossed mill street. I am curious if anyone else has seen one here locally. I am 70 years old and have regularly camped in the woods in California since I was a child on three different occasions I have seen a mountain lion in the woods. I know what a mountain lion looks like, so this was not a bobcat sighting. Please let me know if you have spotted one. Replies:
