Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

This certainly was not the greeting that he had been expecting. First of all, there was no joy, there was no love. The two siblings had not seen each other in well over a year. Tiresias had had some idea of where she was, and he expected that the opposite was also true. So why then had they never sought each other out prior to this, prior to now? His brilliant emerald orbs lolled about, as if searching her face for any hint of emotion, a learned action on his part considering he could not actually see, but for some reason, he felt guarded around her now, as if he had to hide his weakness. Something felt wrong… Very very wrong. This was near about the pack that he had thought she had belonged to all of this time…no… it was the exact pack that he had thought she had belonged to. Why then was she concerned that he was so close to it? Why was it that there was blood of other wolves upon the border? Why did her voice tremble so? Tiresias took a deep breath and sighed.

And I will answer your questions with more questions, my darling sister. Why is it with fear that you greet me, and not with happiness? You have just come from the very pack that you apparently fear, and if it is one that you belong to, why do you fear how close I am to it? If it is something that you fear, why do you belong to it all? Why are you with my uncle, our uncle? He changed the day that Mother died, he is dangerous! And… with your condition, why did you exert yourself to find me so quickly, when surely you must have known that I would wait?

Tiresias finally fell silent, his barrage of questions coming to an end… At least for now. He felt flustered, awkward, uncomfortable – how was it that he felt strange around his own sister? There was a tickle in the back of his throat and a pit in his stomach… And for once… for the first time in the last few months, it was not because of what had happened between him and Tiresias. Something simply wasn’t right. “I am, to answer your second question, mediocre at best. Physically, nothing is wrong with me other than that what you already know of. Mentally…” The kalak exhaled and looked up, or at least his eyes moved in that direction as he thought about how to explain everything. It seemed that for now, the problem between him and Castiel was the least of their worries… Although the space between them still worried him, still pained him, still weighed heavily on his heart. “To be truthful I have not been sleeping much, I have been mulling over something for months now and it doesn’t sit well with me. And emotionally… I know father Caspian would be disappointed in me, but I fear I have lain my emotions out openly, and acted irrationally without thinking, and now regret it. And that is perhaps why I came to find you, at least in part? I needed to talk to someone I trust, and of those few who I have ever trusted in my life, even fewer are still with us, and you Shilo are one of them.

He paused long enough to turn his head, his large towers swiveling, searching for the sound of an approach from another wolf, and his nares flared as he inhaled deeply… But there was no one approaching, at least not yet, not unless they somehow managed to slip through the scratchy thin wispy tall grass without Tiresias noticing. “Now as to the other reason that I have come, sister, is because I came across your scent. Even before I caught on to the heavy cologne of our uncle, I felt a tinge of emotion, and I missed you. But that moment of longing turned into concern when I realized that you were with Akuji. The last I remember, he had been darkened by our grandfather into his other self and is not to be trusted. He was like a father to us once, but that was when he had everything under control… How can you be so sure but he still has control?” Tiresias had a thought - what if Perdere had been released again? What if that was the reason for Shilo‘s fear? His mother had always told the children how it was, told them straight, perhaps the only kalak in history to be completely honest with her children. But she had feared for their future, given their connection to royalty. And she wanted them to know their history, so they could use that to their advantage. What if Perdere once again was the watchdog assassin of the bloodline? “… Unless… Unless you are not with Akuji, but rather are with Perdere?
