A mountain lion sprinted across Route 1 directly in front of my vehicle around 4pm on 9/29/18. We were midway between Colby's Auto and Mexicali Blues.

At first, I thought it was a tawny-colored dog and worried we'd hit it. But when we got closer it was clear it was a mountain lion. It was so fast and muscular! Much too big to be a bobcat.
