So far, he was enjoying the position the alpha had lifted him into. He didn't have to just sit back on his ass and talk. No, he was much more of an actions guy. He enjoying stealing others in the dead of the night and keeping everyone on their toes. Who was he going to kidnap next? Chaos was where he reigned. He would have to think of some better ideas in the future but for now, he'd take what he could get. The alpha was pretty supportive, overall. She actually wanted to help when she could, even though she had a pack to run and a family to raise now. That was admirable. He offered for other wolves to join the cause against Spirane and she told him she would see. He nodded, knowing that would have to do for now. Either way, he would keep on chugging and coming back for more. She growled in agreement to the idea of a hunt and his tail flicked in anticipation. He did like a good hunt, though he was used to doing it on his own most of the time. It would be interesting to have another wolf involved.

She told him to pick the time and prey but she liked it cool. Good thing it was going into winter soon and that should definitely be cool enough for her. He nodded, his lips tugging into a grin. "You got it." He did notice the changes in the alpha but he held back his own awareness of the situation on purpose. There was most likely a pup in the grass, and they were probably practicing their hunting. He would trust that his alpha wouldn't allow just any wolf to sneak up on them. It wasn't perfect sneaking, after all. He could hear little rustles in the grass, but overall, not a bad attempt, especially for a pup. He wouldn't ruin the game by letting her or him know that he knew they were there and he was sure the alpha was gauging his reaction. He saw the flash of motion as the pup sprang forward, aiming for his tail. At first, he thought about letting her have it as a boost of confidence but seeing as how she snuck up on two adult wolves talking, she probably already had a good amount of confidence so he figured he should give a little miss to let her know she had more to learn.

He waited till right as she would have landed on his tail, enough for her to sense her own impending victory, and then he snatched his tail off to the side out of reach and spun around on his heels to face his assailant. His fangs flashed in a playful grin as he lowered his front half more to her level, blue eyes twinkling with mischief as his tail wagged behind him. "What do we have here? A little assassin looking for some tail meat to snack on?" One ear flicked back to his alpha, gauging her reaction just as much as he was watching the pup. After all, the younger one was unpredictable and could attack again but his alpha was much more dangerous in this situation since he could tell by the scent now that the pup was indeed one of hers.
