The boy was curious. Cuirass noticed that he didn't walk further into the boneyard as Cuirass figured he would. He was almost too polite for his own good, or shy, one of the two. And the boy didn't act shy when they first met so he didn't think it was that option. He would have to get over those mannerisms if he wanted to survive. Taking care of number one would have to come first, always. Or he'd never survive. Cuirass took it upon himself to teach what he could to the boy. Here, he was showing him his own raw nature. There was only wolf bones here now. No elk or deer or rabbit. The boy was curious, looking around, but stayed put. Cuirass decided to try something, trotting over to grab a leg with meat on it. He brought it back for the boy's inspection and curled his lip in a grin as the younger male jumped back when his paw swatted down, pinning the bone. He waited for the boy's reaction, watching him scowl before he looked up at Cuirass and gave his name as Balor. Cuirass nodded. Then the boy found his tongue long enough to ask for his name.
He smirked and lifted his paw, sitting down across from the boy with the bone between them. "Cuirass." The boy had sat so it only seemed right that he sit too. That way, Balor might feel more comfortable. He tilted his head, studying the young male for a moment. "Has your mother brought you any solid food yet? Meat for you to eat?" He nudged his head toward the leg. "Try some. You might like it." Wolf meat had such a rich texture that most didn't know it was any different than the regular prey meat. It had more protein so if anything, it tasted sweeter than prey meat, at least in Cuirass' opinion.
