News - 6/19/21
Summer is here and Fall is short around the corner. There is unrest as it stands but, perhaps it is to our advantage. Let no one question our strength. Those who wish to speak on rank, seek me out. If anyone wishes to put a hunt together inform me. Adults or others who wish to rise in rank may seek me out.

Matianak would have preferred for Kweku to arrive before the Nameless One. Even so, she waited patiently for their arrival. She stood rather comfortably; her pale eyes lingered on her children predominantly until a larger form caught her eye. She was perhaps only slightly disappointed it was the Pharaoh first. That thought did not reflect on her features though. She merely gave a strangely pleasant smile as she was greeted.

The woman inclined her head respectfully to Sekhmet's words. As she prepared to respond, Kweku had joined them, answering part of why she was here. Ah, that was right. It was her brother who had intercepted her all those months ago. He was an interesting fellow, but he wasn't around this past winter. "Interesting wolf, your brother. But not quite so interesting as you," she said, while also directing her muzzle towards Kweku, "Or him, for that matter." The grey female eased to her haunches, as much because it was requested of her as it made the conversation easier to be had. Matianak was no threat here, at least not a physical threat. She certainly would not dare to try her paw in blood letting in a place she did not have complete security like she had in Glorall or once had in Iromar.

"No business from the sea. As for my brother... He is... indisposed to the point another has taken the moors," she said of the initial questioning. Kweku filled in the essentials of the rest. Her business was to bring the children for quality time perhaps? Of course, that was the outward appearance. Matianak would certainly use that to her advantage if such an advantage could be played. "My business is personal today. My children's father my not be a daily presence in their lives, but I would have him know them and vice versa," she said calmly. Her gaze drifted between Sekhmet and Kweku to gauge their reactions. Her ears flicked slightly, listening rather intently to what might come from both them or her first daughter's mouth as she came face to face with Menkhet.

Lamia had settled to her haunches briefly a few steps to her mother's side, across from Kweku. She was quickly lying down, watching the interaction between the adults with interest. Rangda was going to do as she pleased. She was already prepared for pursuit from her brother. The addition of another simply caused her to stop short and dance away from the attempted tackle, only issue a low growl in response to the new girl's snarl. They wanted to tag team? Fine! She would take them both on, the dark girl decided. Her tail flicked as she glanced from Amon to Menkhet. The other girl was bigger, but that wouldn't stop her. She would establish the hierarchy now, even if they would only be in Asteraia a short time. Rangda went forward in an attempt to return the favor with tackle of her own.

Matianak glimpsed the interaction between the pups. Let them do what they will. They would establish order among themselves quickly, no doubt. "They will only be left if you intend to allow me to stay as well," she said to the question posed by Kweku. The next was directed more towards Sekhmet, "But I do not think your brother will take kindly to me taking his place among your ranks." An interesting notion, leaving Glorall permanently for Asteraia. Somehow, she did not feel that would be the case right now.
