Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

All that glitters is gold; don't believe what you've been told.

Amidst the twirling thoughts in her mind, the lass had drifted away into a dreamless slumber. Whether it was drug induced from the silvery droplets that had doused her carriage or the just because she had needed the rest after her travels. She hadn’t thought herself that tired and though her muscles ached, they truly felt no worse off than a normal day’s work. Her crown was laden with antlers already, but still dreary eyed and under sleep’s deep pull, her cranium lulled to the side until branched antlers stopped any further falling. Heavy lids fluttered, not wanting to let go of peaceful blackness she was still half entrenched in. She wondered how late the day was now. How much daylight had she lost to this little nap of hers? Would she need to stay the night among to mountain tops? It wasn’t completely out of the question, she had the thickened fur that would keep the frosted bite from getting to her bones. She would be likely to find a little cave or dugout to hole herself away in, which wasn’t all that bad of an idea anyways. She needed a better den for the coming winter anyways.

The little hollow brush she had inhabited during the summer would be a mere skeleton of twigs and brambles before long. Or else she needed to seek residence within a pack or a land where caves and dugouts would be more easily accessible. Sabelle could by all means go and ask entrance at Athene’s pack, but she wasn’t entirely sure of the decision just yet. For as much as she loved Athene and wanted to see the children, she did not want the weight of pack life upon her shoulders again. Or maybe she feared to find another man who did not truly love her, find a woman who did, or maybe just end up alone with nothing to show for the life she had lived thus far. These thoughts among her memories, ran wild and stirred the lady to wake from her slumber. She did not want to dwell on those thoughts, so instead she rose up and shook the dust and mist from her body and wiped the sleep from her eyes.

Small puddles soaked her pads and some even soaked her through and up to her ankles.

Sabelle glimpsed down briefly to watch her paw sink into a wider one and that was when she caught a first glimpse of her antlers. The crème woman stopped dead in her tracks, frozen to the spot staring at herself. The once plain boney structures were now twined with what could only be described as liquid mercury or quicksilver. It seemed to reflect to water and the bright silvery streams upon her antlers took on the colors of sky and surrounding landscape, mirroring it. Sabelle was awe struck at this new development and more than anything excited. She closed her eyes and blinked rapidly to ensure she was not just dreaming any longer, but the quick silver rivets stayed clear as day. It branched in no particular order up her antlers but each side seemed to mirror the other. Sabelle looked around to see if any other varg had noticed her peculiar status, but she was alone atop this mountain and the sky was darkening as the sun dipped to the horizon in the west. And so Sabelle decided it best she find residence here for the night.

People lie, people love, people go, but beauty lies in every soul.
