Once the grey woman sat so did she, even her features relaxed just enough to look sharply with an air of seriousness. While she did not know of Kweku’s winter activities she did not become angry for his nature, perhaps she questioned his choice but she could not judge the woman too harshly. “Interesting? How so?” The question was a light one however when she answered about the business she nodded at her comment of the sea the one about her brother, well the comment clearly reached her eyes. While she did not so much agree with the snake she was disappointed in his news, he did have something interesting about him that stirred the deep within her. Still, the woman spoke on her business being personal and Sekhmet’s gaze fell to the children and the opal-eyed woman offered a nod of understanding. She would not deny their knowledge of one another.
When Kweku asked about the pups staying her ear swiveled in his direction almost curiously and then to the woman as she spoke. Still, Sekhmet waited until she was finished and the female spoke of taking her brother's placement among the pack ranks. There was a half-laugh that left Sekhmet as her lip drew back to better display a tooth into the direction of the grey woman before standing to her paws. “To think I would lay my trust in a wolf who resides with the sea and snake. I do not know your goals or ambitions. I do not trust you and for you to think I would seek your counsel over my own brother is almost insulting. He will always have a place at my table but I am unsure the same could be said for your or even the snake.” Sekhmet hissed in such an ancient language. “We will see. For now. I deny your request.” Her gaze turned to Kweku warning him not to challenge her decision. She would speak with him and Cuirass more on the matter later. Kweku was her chosen but her Thoth, well he was chosen with the witty nature and delectable mind. She felt Cuirass would be best to provide the most unbiased judgment of such a delicate situation.
She looked to her daughter who manages to evade her half-sibling before issuing a growl. This is when she chose to speak, “Daughter, we are leaving. You have much to learn. However, let us find your siblings and see if Cuirass would like to join us on a hunt.” She knew her daughter would understand as she chose to teach her such a language in order to give her proper lessons. While Sekhmet loved all her children she would not teach them all such a language. “Mind your step. Enjoy your visit. The children. Can play later.” She said to both Matianak and Kweku. “Grey Woman. We may speak soon.” This was her lighter offer, after all, she had questions she wanted answers. Her daughter laughed before coming to her paws almost to say she enjoyed playing, which almost convinced her to allow Menkhet to play and learn to set her place in the world as she had a large weight to carry one day, however, for now, would teach her verbally and her siblings were always best as her primary strength. Sekhmet knew she loved them as much as she loved her own brother. For now, with daughter in tow she turned and moved off to seek out her other children and her adviser. After all, it is better than losing her temper here.
