Re(8): Victoria is Dead, Long Live Albert

I'm claiming Roscommon on my dad's side and Clare much more recently on my mum's. I'm sure you have some hard wired opinion on that heritage. Even went to the ancestral farm about thirty years ago and was invited, by my mum's cousin, to stick my arm down the blocked drain to free it. I believe that is the traditional greeting to prodigals (or Donutz) coming home. I could get an Irish passport if I spend a fortune and several months in rural Clare trying to dig up the record of granny's birth. Boy are my kids pissed off about that - they can't do the same because I would have to have applied for the Irish passport before they were born. Tough break!
