Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Myrcella could not place the feeling for Paxton, but she was not mad about it either. She knew in time they would grow to know one another better. The Fates had deemed it so. For all her father's being adamant that nothing was coincidental, the sandy blonde girl knew there was no coincidence in meeting Paxton when she did. They would always have been fated to be imprints, but the timing of their meeting is what made it all the more important. It was like the Gods knew she needed someone else to talk to that were not her family and friends, and that it would be someone who would listen. Granted, it would be in Paxton's way, in his words. That was more than enough right now.

She shook her head at the question. "My sister is the one who was primary hostess at the gathering where we met. Dandy likes when good things happen," Myrcella explained; she hoped it made sense at least. Of course Dandelion was thrilled. Her only disappointment was in the fact only Myrcella and one of Dandy's friends from the pack had found their imprint that day; otherwise, the gathering had gone off without a hitch and everyone seemed to have enjoyed themselves.

"A lot, actually," she said to his question. Myrcella sighed, her green eyes downcast for a moment. "Someone has been causing trouble for Spirane, and they targeted my father recently," she began. The young female took her time; she wanted Paxton to understand, and hopefully even offer some possible advice. "He is older, though a very adept diplomat. But I just don't understand why anyone would bother us when we have done nothing to them. In fact, the perpetrators ignored him when he tried to peacefully meet with them," Myrcella continued.

"And I just don't know what to do now... I am learning from my father to be diplomatic and maybe even be our pack's lead diplomat one day. But this is beyond anything I know..." Even if all Paxton did was 'listen', it was a great deal to lift her emotional load and have someone willing to share it. Someone that did not have any preconceived notions or intimate knowledge of the situation at hand. Part of her wanted to march right to Asteraia and give them a piece of her mind. The other part just wanted to take care of her aging sire.
