Balor didn't seem scared when he saw the wolf bones or even disgusted like Cuirass expected most pups would be. If anything, he only seemed curious to see more, as if he already had been expecting this. Cuirass could only wonder what kind of stories Hircine had been telling her children. He did recall that she thought of cannibals as something wonderful so maybe she had taught her children the same way. How great would that be? He tilted his head as Balor repeated his name as if putting it to memory. His lips twitched with humor. Good. He wanted the boy to remember who he was. He wanted everyone to know his name. And soon enough, they would. He wondered how much Balor knew of the pack and those in it. Had he meant many other pack members? Did he know about ranks and stuff?
Cuirass watched with curiosity as Balor leaned in to try the leg meat. His gaze was almost greedy as the boy tore off a piece, though his eyes twinkled with humor when he saw the look Balor gave him right before, as if expecting him to yank the leg right back or something. Oh no, he wanted to share this. It wasn't like he was actually hungry or anything. He watched and waited as the boy chewed, waiting with attentive ears until Balor started to speak. He was still chewing too, though Cuirass almost considered it a victory for the younger male to do anything not considered polite. It was a step in the right direction, anyway and he would take it. Balor seemed to approve, saying it was the tastiest thing ever. Cuirass grinned and nodded. "Yup. If you want to eat it all the time too, just stick with me. I'll show you where to get all the best meat." He lifted a brow daringly. "But it doesn't come cheap. You have to work for it." He watched the boy, waiting to gauge his reaction.
