Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Her assassin instincts were still well intact and she knew without a doubt the minute she was no longer alone and being watched. She didn't turn her head toward the other wolf at first, letting them get a long hard look. She had nothing to be ashamed of. She knew she wasn't the biggest wolf in Moladian, not even close. She was probably one of the smallest wolves borne of Achilles and Vega, but she'd still honed her skills as a killer, no matter the obstacles. She didn't believe that one had to have brute strength and size to take someone down. She believes in mind games and luring her prey to their deaths. What someone saw was only a mirage after all. She could decieve with the best of them. The someone who was watching her made no move to come closer and she grew curious. If it was another assassin, they would have made themselves more hidden and tried approaching her from a blind spot. The moment they knew or even had an inkling that their cover was blown, they would have disappeared or attacked, but this one did neither. Instead they just sat still and continued to watch her, like some kind of creepy ghost.

She caught a hint of a scent but didn't recognize it. It wasn't a pack wolf from Diveen, or any pack really that she could decipher. So either they bathed the scent off for disguise or they were a loner. It could be one of those cannibal wolves that hunted what they considered to be easy prey. Her lips twinged at just the thought. Well, let them stalk her. She'd show them just how easy she wasn't when it came to being killed. Many had tried before and none had succeeded. Her body posture remained relaxed, at least to an outside observer, but under her fur, her muscles were tense and coiled, ready for action. In fact, she was almost eager for something, anything. At least it would take her out of this dormant cycle of inability. She would at least be doing something than just daydreaming and getting lost in all the would have been's. She was so tired of that. She was tired of being bitter. She was tired of blaming Navarre. She was just plain tired. When the watcher continued to not do anything, it started to grate on her nerves a little. She could handle a little watch and see but her patience grew thin fast.

Finally she couldn't help herself so she flicked an ear toward him before finally snapping her gaze to the male. She looked him over, her tail flicking behind her as her ears flicked back and forth, unsure what to think. He didn't act hostile but he still hadn't spoken or made a move or anything yet either. She scowled. "Want to take a picture? It'll last longer." She finally snapped, one brow lifting in a daring way. Now let's see if he was a coward or not.
