Fallen leaves crunch beneath the behemoth’s weight, dead limbs snapping at the pressure. Dracarys has no care of the sounds he makes as he continues on further into this new land. This land was spacious with a never ending changing of scenery and Dracarys took his time traveling the forest floor. Eyes of burnt amber were alert, glancing around and his ears flicked at various sounds of wildlife around him. His ears flick forward alerting him to the squawking of birds that were circling above. He peers upward hoping to catch a glimpse of the annoying feathered pest but the trees grew too close together and the limbs blocked most of his view of the blue sky. Shaking his thick, scruffy fur he pads towards the noisy birds once more.
The scent of a nearby decaying animal hit the brute’s sharp nares as he steps beneath the circling birds. It was the kind of scent that one could tell that the dead animal had been decaying for several days. Flecks of sun peeked through the dense forest illuminating the forest floor around him. His amber optics scanning the ground infront of him searching the source of the scent. A small breeze rustled through the trees carrying with it the cologne of another. Dracarys snaps to attention the fur along his nape and hackles rising and he growls under his breath, annoyed at the thought of fighting over scrapes with some other wolf. But he would fight if need be.
The large black wolf glanced around, his ember eyes settling on the dark grey male. It appeared that these lands were not deserted after all. His tail raised slightly and he titled his head at a slight angle curiously. The other male appeared to be a large beast like himself but his dark brown eyes did not suggest that he wanted a fight. Dracarys was glad for that, he did not care for fighting another over something as small as a few scraps. He never cared for offensive fighting, only in interested in defending himself or another innocent party. Not the type to go around looking for a fight, preferring to avoid those types of situations. Dracarys let his tail fall and he relaxed a tad, though he still remained ready to fight if needed too but he doubted that this encounter would go that way.
“Hello there” Dracarys said, his gaze remained on the older wolf. |
