Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

Kenryk was still struggling to adjust to the constant changes his body seemed to be going through. Lanky alabaster limbs tripped him up far too often, and his thick brindled coat was patchy and uneven as the hairs that covered his spindly physique developed from soft fine baby hairs, to a thick, protective adults cloak. Rough motley guard hairs poked up from soft baby cotton, spraying in every direction instead of laying down how they ought, on a full blown coat. His brother, Kabaub, was no different, and it made Kenryk feel better that, at least he wasn’t alone in being so incredibly awkward. His brother stumbled at least as often as he did on adventures, and the starry boy’s paws were MASSIVE in comparison to his stature.

It was only with those comforts that Kenryk could soothe himself when his muzzle landed square in the dirt, when moments before he had been upright and confidently unconcerned. He was not alone, and so, this was not to be feared. Kabaub reminded him often, that one day their scraggly coats and completely disproportionate limbs would all fall into place, and they would be completely normal that they already were, totally normal.

The fluffy coating of snow that covered the ground under Kenryks paws made his dark brindled coat stand out amongst branches heavy with snow. The air was frigid and icy, but still, and the lack of wind made the day almost.. bearable. Kenryk was searching for Kabaub, they had gotten separated when leaving Wudubearo and the striped boy had been unable to find his starry pelted counterpart since. He was starting to worry, it had been weeks, perhaps even a full moon cycle, and the boy with mismatched optics had searched all of the free lands without finding hide nor hair of his brother, and he dared not enter even the borders of another pack, for fear of what might greet him at the gates. His mind was full of worry and concern, eyes blank and unseeing as he wandered the forest, searching completely ineffectively for his brother, for surely had he been paying attention, he would not have walked directly into another wolf.....
