When the smell of free food and gathering wolves hit her keen nostrils, there was no need to tell Corona to come an join the group. She slipped effortlessly between the giant towering trees and cleared the fallen brush in her path with about as much grace as one her age could ever hope to muster. It had been some time now since last she had eaten more than a wittless squirrel or tiny mouse. She was still young and mother had not exactly stayed around long enough to teach her much about patience and hunting skills. Corona was proud of whatever tiny meals she managed to catch.... but it wasnt more than a mouthful here and there. Just enough to keep some meat on her bones. Hell she hadnt turned up her nose to a beetle or slug if it crossed her path. But here, here was a whole shmorgishborg laid out for the taking!

Corona's brilliant teal eyes glittered with delight at the sight of the turkeys, plump and ripe. Already her mouth salivated at the thought of grabbing a bite... and thats just what she did. She was not sneaky as perhaps a young one ought to be. Mom skipped that lesson about elders as well. None the less she pranced right on up and using her paws to brace the big bird, with a few good shakes manages to snatch off a mouthful of mainly feathers but there is still the metallic flavor of blood dripping onto her tongue that ensures that she did indeed get some meat.
With a proud flip of her tail Corona gracelessly takes a seat neaby a white female and another dark colored one and begins to chomp down on her prize, tan colored ears perked forward, eyes shinning with delight. This day was turning out to be quite worth while.. .
