Elohim had to admit that it was a little strange to be welcomed with such an earnest smile; pleasantries were just that but the way she grinned? It was not so common and because of that, it caught him ever so slightly off guard. But he knew better than to show it in any other way than to return her favor with his own grin, more grin and less smirk than as she seemed to observe him as he had her. Of course, it wasn't so hard to muster an honest grin when she seemed so proud of her antlers and he wondered with a raised brow if she had brought down the kill by herself.
"Is here home now?" He finally inquired, allowing himself to lapse into the same silences she did. He figured it made it easier for her when she had breathing space. Still, he stretched his neck out and sought to sniff at the antlers, ever curious as to where the beast had hailed from. She had been away for some time - how far had she gone? Had she been dragging it along for so long? "I can take you to Eden. Once you give it to him, what will you do?" He retracted then and rose to his full height, a quick shake of his fur to dislodge the sand that had already settled on him from the wind. When it came to admitting things, he also had to admit he felt a sting when she seemed to want to see his father more. Such was the life of the son of an alpha, though.
And so he motioned for her to move beside him, using his body to ask the questions he would generally use words for. It seemed that time hadn't truly changed her, only made her bigger and so he motioned for her to share the antler's weight if she so desired.
