Valkyria took a deep breath, the cold air stinging as it went down her airpipes and into her lungs. It made her feel alive, but also made her feel sad as well. Her mind continued to wander to her family, to her past. It all just felt like a different world now, disconnected to the Moladion that currently was under her paws. Maybe that was why she kept leaving, the lands didn’t feel like the home she remembered and wanted to keep returning too. She had made up her mind though to give her birth home one last chance before maybe once again leaving Moladion again. She wanted to try to get Diveen back to how it was, but… with her father passing and what clearly was her mom fading quickly after him she knew that would be hard. The power couple she was born too, watched take over Diveen, was falling apart all because of one wolfess. That was when she heard the crunch of paws on frost her green eyes narrowed, ears pulling back slightly to pinpoint his location clearly.

She stood still, ready, her voice calling out. Val heard the soft sounds of what were very likely small corpses on the grass before a voice called out in reply. The friendly greeting was enough to get her to turn, looking over her shoulder at a male that was very close to her size. That was a bit surprising, she was used to wolves being much larger than her, but that wasn’t really what caught her off guard. It was as if a shock was sent through her body the moment her green eyes met his brown, she had felt this before, years ago but it had faded shortly after. It was part of that old life in Moladion, she couldn’t even remember his name anymore, she wasn’t even sure if she ever got it… She snorted shaking her head, her heart started uncharacteristically racing in her chest, she knew what it was, but words failed her, a silence sat between them.

She knew she probably should say something what type of luck caused this to happen? She didn’t have any idea who he was, his words still sat on her though. What he was doing out here. The thick musk of trees was all over him, telling her he was part of the forest pack, Taviora, but she knew nothing else. He was riddled in scars, in failures. You didn’t get that many scars having a successful battle after all. He was either very unlucky, or very reckless. What had she just come across? More silence fell between them as she shifted on her paws before she finally spoke up again.

”I was Remembering the past, before my family fell apart.” She said smoothly. ”I’m Valkyria. What should I call you? I feel just calling you ‘imprint’ is a little too impersonal for such a strong, seemingly precious bond.” She asked while inside she felt herself almost pushing away from the idea of bonding, the other part of her wanted something desperately to cling to. Had Moladion gifted her someone new because this was a start of a new life? New life. New home. New Imprint? Was this some kind of way for Moladon to try to put chains on her to ensure she stayed from now on? She supposed it depended a lot on him. So far… he didn’t seem all that bad. He mentioned having a son though, was he mated? That would mean she wasn’t destined for anything like what her parents had, she wouldn’t expect that from him anyway, she wasn’t even sure she wanted that. All of it though would come to show in time.
