Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Kajika gave a slight nod to Abel’s statement. Even without the verbal confirmation that his pack had not caused such an injury, the scarring definitely seemed old enough that this stranger had been missing this paw for some time. The brindle and white male kept his gaze on Abel’s face at this point. No need to be curious or wonder. His curiosity had been sated by the appearance of the odd-gaited wolf after he had heard a different sort of step.

The young male adjusted his posture slightly as Abel spoke. Someone important to him was in Asteraia? Then why not go find them himself, he wondered. There were any number of reasons Abel could not, or would not, do that. The name he gave sounded familiar. Kajika had not met her personally, but he was fairly certain that was the name of their head diplomat.

”How important is she to you?” he asked. It was a genuine question, but laced with a warning. The dual toned male might not know Jinx personally, but she was pack. And that meant Kajika was not just going to willy-nilly confirm her whereabouts to an unfamiliar wolf. There were any number of possibilities Abel might seek out Jinx, but he had to know for sure what it was before he confirmed or denied knowing where the diplomat might be.
