It was now or never. The mountains were going to be a lot harder to trek through when she was waddling just to get around so before her belly exploded, Avery knew she needed to make contact with the others alphas of Moladian and see what terms they could agree on as far as alliances go. It was always nice to have those to fall back on. She knew Iromar didn't have a very good history with most of the other packs but hopefully she could turn that around by offering some kind of olive branch. She had brought food to the Fall Festival hoping to make a good first impression there but now she needed to make more of an effort, pregnancy or not. An alpha didn't get downtime. She didn't know much about the current alphas of Spirane, only that there was two females. Lovers or siblings? Best friends? She wasn't sure.

It only made her think of Aithne and that hurt. Her best friend was gone though and nothing would bring her back to this cruel world. Avery could only lead Iromar back into the light that she once brought with her everywhere she went. The path beneath her paws got rockier and she had to slow down. Her body was already starting to change and ache a little more in places it didn't usually and she didn't want to overdo it. Arkane would surely never let her live it down if she endangered their unborn children before he even knew about them. She sighed and moved on after a few minutes of rest and when the scent of two wolves got stronger, she knew she must be close to the borders. Tilting her head up, she called out, letting the alphas know that she was here to talk. Hopefully they would catch the peace in the message and not send an army after her.
