Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

let's start a riot

"Neque porro quisquam est qui dolorem ipsum quia dolor sit amet, consectetur, adipisci velit..."
"There is no one who loves pain itself, who seeks after it and wants to have it, simply because it is pain..."

Time was running out and her body was changing with the onset of winter. She'd have to tell Arkane soon enough that he was going to be a father again but until then, she had alpha duties to take care of. With no diplomats in the swamp, that left alliances to her so pregnant or not, she needed to make contact with the other alphas and find out where they stood. Glorall was probably one of the least changed packs since her last time in Moladian. It seemed like the same alpha had been there all this time, though she didn't remember much about the seaside pack from her time before anyway. They were always so quiet and mysterious. That could be a good or a bad thing. Drama free or plotting? It was a toss up, but she needed to draw the alpha out one way or another. She didn't know if they had history with Iromar or not, if any pups had been kidnapped from here, but thankfully they should have all escaped in the downtime when Blackthorne was nowhere to be found or in the break when she was taking over Iromar herself. It wasn't like she'd try to re-trap them.

She didn't have any connections here but then then she didn't really have connections anywhere but Diveen now that she was back and that was only because of her daughters. She'd at least met the alpha of Taviora briefly at the Fall Festival but didn't recall seeing anyone from Glorall at the Feast. She thought about bringing something with her on her treks to the packs but didn't want to come across as a pushover or suck up, make them feel like she was bribing them for friendship or something. She wanted to earn their alliance the old fashioned way, through growing mutual trust and respect. The ground grew softer beneath her paws and grass gave way to sand soon enough. She scrunched up her nose at the foreign texture but pushed forward, only pausing when the scent of a dominant male got strong in the air.

Tilting her head up, she called out, knowing he'd probably have a border patrol running which was fine but she wanted to make sure she got the head honcho himself as well. Business needed to be talked about before she was waddling everywhere she walked.
