He hadn’t seen his mother in so long, honestly the resemblance between them was lost. He knew he had his dad’s bright teal eyes, and the stripes across the nose were about the same, but otherwise, Toraburu really couldn't remember how similar he was to his mother. He hadn’t seen her in years after all. He was still losing puppy teeth, and then some of his teeth that he lost, well one of them, just never grew back. He grumbled slightly at her yipe of surprise, was she really that unaware of her surroundings or was she just deaf? Tora really hadn’t been around any kids younger than him, well… ever. Honestly he never really was around kids his age other than that scaredy cat boy… what was his name? Lefty? Or something dumb like that. That was about the only other kid he had been around and he was the least manly thing on the planet. Now, there was this girl, tucked on the ground, scared shitless apparently at him, well… he guessed he was pretty big, bigger than his dad and his mom now he guessed. He supposed with his blind eye and misshapen bite he could look a tad bit imposing.
Good honestly. Made people screw off more. Still, the boy was hardly a boy now. In his third year already he was pretty much an adult who could do whatever the hell he wanted, and with his parents gone… well… he guessed it was time he started figuring out what exactly it was he wanted. The tan bodied child though bothered him, the tint of her fur and teal of her eyes, and brown on her body were all too familiar, yet, Tora knew out there somewhere, but god knew where, his uncle and his croch spawn were also around. May be she was related to one of them, or maybe to one of his father’s other siblings, he had a whole bunch Tora never even met, easily could be one of their kids or grandkids even. He doubted it. There family seemed to have a way of not sticking together after all, he hadn’t seen his uncle since he let go of Asteraia, he wasn’t even entirely sure if his uncle was still alive anywhere either. Just.. a coincidence surely.
Then she said something that made him absolutely snear. ”Coincidence, surely, cause both my parents are long gone. Who are you and why would you think that anyway. It’s freaking weird.” He snorted at her, completely ignoring the fact that she asked who he was first. He didn’t need to tell her crap. She was the dumb little girl, and he was the big wolf that could eat her if he wanted.
