Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

KAMALA

The year had passed slow-- Hiding away from the world as it swirled in colors before me. I'd asked him point blank, if he wanted me to leave, I would, but he never answered, and since then, I'd never seen him. It was as if a part of my other worldly soul was gone, but not that I would shrivel away and die without that part of me, after all, I hadn't known the connection long enough to be bothered by it. I wondered how he healed, more often or not. The knowledge of not knowing if he had healed was what bugged my mind most days. Thus, I hid in the shadows of the trees on the sand. I didn't feel as if I belonged here, and maybe I never had. Who knows anymore at this point. I hadn't sought out Eden after that day, nor had he sought me out. For the best, I guess. I saw glimpses of him here and there, with what I assumed were my new half siblings following him. Well, I hope they grow to have a better relationship with him than I did.

I think, in some far recess of my mind, I was hurt by that. Not knowing him, and all that jazz, then feeling unwanted within his home. Maybe this year I'd head off on my own again. There was no reason to stay, after all. But that's a thought process for another day, not today. I had not been a Precocious child, by any means. I was not superior in hunting or stealing, nor was I good at healing. I didn't really have any niche I fit in, to be honest. I don't think I ever will. But again, my mind was rambling, again.

I heard the sounds of someone approaching, followed by a bark calling to me. That was strange. No one had sought me out in over a year, so this...was unheard of. I stood up, slowly, shaking the sand loose from my coat. It was thicker than normal, hiding the fact that I hadn't taken as much care of myself as I should. But to anyone else, I'd look healthy, that's all that mattered, yes?

I watched with hesitant eyes, following the grey/dark grey form that was approaching. Elohim. He introduced himself as, my half brother. Another? That's curious. I vaguely remember meeting another half brother a few years ago, but he stunk of death, whereas this one did not. "Well, I have to say I'm a little surprised. No one seeks me out, let alone a sibling. I'm charmed." I sit, shaking my fur out once again, my eyes shifting to look around us for a quick moment. I was curious as to what this was about, uncertainty rolled through me. Maybe Eden had finally sent someone to tell me it was time to go. Wouldn't that be something.

eden x renai, nine, glorall?, fated to underidge.
