He seemed to be watching her reaction as he spoke of his parents as if he expected her to know them from her past. She was almost disappointed that she didn't. She knew neither wolf was a member of Iromar so she wouldn't have easily met them because she didn't leave the swamp a lot back then. She was too comfortable in the moors. She only knew of the bloodline cause Tobias was a big name in Moladian. He was a terror, someone to be feared and therefore he was of interest to her as a child growing up in a land of Demons. She wondered if Elijah was anything like his father. Maybe the love of war and chaos was sent down through the generations in their blood. It wasn't a bad thing to have that in Iromar, as long as the wars were fought for the right reasons. She was warrior herself after all.

He listened attentively as she told him a bit about her background and how she got to where she is now. Her loyalty to Iromar was everything. She took it personally when she came back to Iromar only to find it in abandoned ruins. It was a blow straight to her heart so she stepped forward on impulse, ready to tear into anyone that stood in her way of getting her home back. She still stood by that impulse and she hoped she had conveyed that to Dirge well enough. She was for peace but she would go to war in an instant if she felt it was called for. Nothing was more precious to her than her home and those that also called it home. She let him process everything before they spoke about him and what his specialties are. He told her warmonger suited him better and she nodded in understanding. So he was the catalyst that started the wars. She was sure he had quite a body count to go with that resume but that wasn't why she asked.

His past molded him into a strong wolf with a unique skill set and she would find a niche for that skillset. That was her job as alpha. She could tell by his dark look that he was reminded every day of that past. Maybe some of it haunted him. Maybe he still wished he could go back to it sometimes. Maybe he reveled in the bloodshed. She could tell he wasn't trying to boast, only helping her know more about him so she could better find a place for him here in Iromar. And it was certainly a task with that background. "So as a warmonger, I would say you did a little bit of everything, and correct me if I'm wrong. You did some spying to find out what would trigger a hostile response in either party then you used your diplomacy to start the fires burning, whether by words or deceptive actions to make it look like the other party was responsible. Then you either sat back and watched the fires burn or you jumped in for a little action yourself cause warriors can't stand idle in a conflict."

She looked him over, waiting for him to tell her she was either pretty much right on target or maybe she was way off and that's not at all how he did his job. Either way, he was definitely more complicated to place than most of the wolves coming into Iromar. He would be an asset for sure either way. "If moving up in the pack is what you seek then I can certainly make that happen. As for right now, what was yoru favorite part of the job? Was it seeking out weaknesses to exploit, setting the traps, or the action itself of spilling blood? Just so I know where to put you at the start of your journey to greatness." She smirked a little, looking forward to his answer.
