He seemed like a nice enough wolf and he didn't seem mad at all that she wasn't just going to leave now and come back later. If anything, she thought she saw approval in his gaze, if only for an instant, before he nodded. He almost seemed surprised that her alpha had sent her to him. Did he not believe in his own abilities as a fighter or as a trainer or both? Or did he just not know that others would know of his talents? Well, she was here to show him he was good at all of it! He gave her a smile as she waited for his answer but then he told her to wait a moment and she pricked her ears, eyes shining with curiosity. What was he up to? He suddenly tilted his head back, calling out and she listened with rapt attention.

When the second call came back, she shifted her weight in excitement and wagged her tail. That was the alpha! It had an air of authority to it, that's for sure. It had to be! She watched Navarre though, watching his features as he listened to the call. She was pretty sure she knew what the call had said but she let him listen anyway. Finally he nodded again, though this time she had a feeling it wasn't for her. He turned back to her then, saying that her presence was awaited and they could get started. She grinned, eyes lighting up. "Great!" She liked the knowing smile on his face and the mischeveous look in his eye. He must be a fun teacher. She was already looking forward to the lessons. He tilted his head, saying they should work on her stance. Scowling thoughtfully, she did as her cousin Teza had taught her, widening her stance and lowering her head to protect her vitals.

She dropped her forehand, putting her power back on her hind legs so she could pounce or launch herself at someone. He told her she would come upon other wolves larger than her and she nodded in acknowledgement. She knew she wasn't small by any means but she also wouldn't be the largest female in Moladian. Plus she'd probably have to take on males, too. And she wouldn't back down. Her determined gaze said as much. When he asked about her advantages, she thought for a moment. "Well, if they're bigger than me, that should mean I'm faster, right? I know I'm not exactly a ballerina but I would think I'd be more agile than someone more bulky than me." She tilted her head, wondering if she answered right. Was there a right answer in this?
