Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

He'd never really had to impress anybody before, let alone a woman that seemed like she was hardly part of the same world (in a good way, of course!). What was he supposed to do? Laughing was good, right? He was sure it was - she didn't seem to be laughing at him, at least. He couldn't help but look every part the unsure and observant that he was, and he was glad she seemed to drift into her own little bubble from time to time. It gave him time to re-address himself: stand properly, straighten up, look casual but interested, a little laugh when she laughed. It was a lot of work. Why did he feel it so essential? Part of him rebelled: if they were imprints or anything like that, he shouldn't need to impress her! Yet another part was quite positive it was just as important to become suitable, not just be born perfect. Did it even make sense? Honestly, he was pretty close to just accepting that nothing ever really made that much sense anyway.

"Huh? Mission for that guy? You want to be a bigshot in Glorall?" He was genuinely baffled - he knew she was from Glorall but...well, he couldn't really explain why he thought she wouldn't want to be a 'somebody.' Uncles? Cousins? For a moment, his eyes dashed to the meeting taking place. Who were her uncles? Cousins? Were they...related? No! Surely not. That wouldn't be right...right? He made a face, a fleeting display of 'oh no' before he did his best to look confident. He cleared his throat. "Well, I'm from Taviora and Zelda needed a guard so, I thought I'd come do that. Make sure nobody gets into danger or anything." He hadn't really thought beyond that.

"But...did you come to do some of the activities too? Story telling...you know...that kind of stuff. I mean, you aren't hungry now, right? And I'm sure Eden won't be annoyed if you stay out a while so...uhhhh..." If he could sweat a river, he would have. Instead, he trailed off, eyes widened a bit, and shuffled on his paws. He wanted to get to know her more but...well, he'd never really done that either.
