Powerful. She liked the word though she had never once imagined it to be one that could describe her; she wondered if it what she felt was truly powerful or rather, liberation. Or were they one in the same? In any case, she practically purred and quivered with excitement at his soft words, the idea of giving off such an energy.
"Ah! I don't need to taste, oh no, no - I want to experience it." Her voice moved with an undertow of laughter as he gathered in closer to her, his breath brushing against her ears like mist and slow-burn adrenaline. She moved in sync with the gesture, bringing them closer so that she could see every fleck of colour in his very eyes, the two of them bathed in moonlight as she began to beckon him onward with slow, deliberate strides. "They will be powerful." She corrected him, her words short and lips taut. Yet, she still grinned at the very prospect of it all. She knew not whether she could take a mate but she did know that she could take him at least for some days. She'd create a tangible connection, bring their worlds closer, and she hoped it would allow not only herself but any creature she bore the ability to pass between those two worlds freely. Instead of forcing his world to become hers, she merely wished to create a larger world between them. That was balance - two beings existing as individuals, meeting in the middle. Their children would exist in that middle, beings able to move between. At least, in the moments Beltane used to lure him towards the shadows and darkness of the world's maw, it made sense to her.
"Take me to where your blood is strongest," her voice had become quiet as she whispered the words, a frantic ecstasy pushing them between her teeth before her body gave another quiver of excitement. Soon, they'd find themselves in his world and there, she'd discover just how much power the moon had given her.
