Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Return to Lunar Children

SHE WAS SMILING LIKE SUNSHINE.

Oh, she was getting frustrated! No - rather, she was becoming desperate. She couldn't quite be mad, not when he was doing everything in his power to be sweet to her. So, she was caught between a rock and a hard place, wanting to be annoyed but unable to really be annoyed at him too. Instead, she pouted and sighed heavily in a desperate effort to get her mind in the right order, or to at least get the courage to just say what she wanted to say. Ah! It was her father that was better at tip toeing around things! Whenever she tried, it was more like she was just dancing in a completely different field to where the point was.

"Sinclair! I'm...well, I think we're going to be really busy in spring, okay?" She finally blurted it out and stared at him with wide, almost-shocked eyes. "Really, really busy. And I think we need to start thinking about names too." Had he ever thought about those? She wondered. Had he dreamed of names to go alongside little white balls of fur? They had been side by side for some decade and a half...she couldn't help but wonder if he had ever carried some kind of unspoken resentment over their apparent incompatibility. Would he be happy? Would he be afraid? Would she be afraid? She didn't think so...but then again, she hadn't even had the time to be happy yet either. In fact, only when she had finally said something close to the words had she really been able to accept that it was true. Cersei, at sixteen years old and after a decade of roaming, had finally been able to start a real family with Sinclair. Even in her silence, she practically wiggled on the spot, unable to contain the excitement that suddenly washed over her.

"Sin! We're about to take a crash course in parenting! Oh, we should have practiced somehow...My parents never taught me how to do it! I was never even a pup-sitter..." She frowned, grinned, laughed, and then she sprung towards him with the complete intention to push him over and thrash him a little with her paws. An overwhelming display of excitement, just a little misdirected. "Sin! Sin! I think they're going to be way too cute to handle! What if we can't focus because they're just too cute?! You know, like you were as a pup - all fluffy with those too-big paws." She giggled again, swatted at him with a paw, suddenly no longer worried about everything they had to do in the meantime. Hopefully, for her sake and the children's, Sinclair would at least have some ability to get her to focus.

cersei,
