Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Magpie
have courage
be kind

”Well, I don’t think wolves are every fully bad, they just make bad choices out of anger or pain.” Probably not the answer he was looking for, but then it was a tricky question, at least for Magpie. The gold-touched female was a strong believer that every wolf had good in them. After all, even though he had kidnapped pups and been antagonistic toward nearly all of Moladion, Blackthorne hadn’t harmed the pups and had returned them to their families eventually. Hadn’t he? As she pondered the dichotomy of good and evil in the world, Triton seemed to relax and seemed to brighten when she mentioned the ocean.

Magpie felt her own anxiety and confusion ease at the sight of Triton’s obvious love for his home. Or perhaps it was the fact that he was starting to seem a bit more at ease. She could only hope that things would continue to settle between them, that she could bring herself open her heart as readily as she had with Lefteris. Though even as she worried, part of her knew it was silly to worry about such things. Fate was far wiser than any wolf. She would come to love Triton just as much as Lefteris; perhaps more! She had only to give it time. Smiling softly, Magpie took half a step closer to Triton, resolved to stay close and trust fate.

“You make it sound so appealing. Perhaps I could visit sometime? If you don’t mind, that is. You’re probably very busy.” He seemed like the competent sort and likely had duties to perform for his pack. As much as she wanted to stay near to the wolf, she didn’t want to cause him undue discomfort or trouble either. Though even as she resolved to be mindful of his obligations, her curious mind kicked in and demanded to know everything she could about her imprint. “Do you sleep in the sand? It must be hard to dig a den in.”
