Trumpeter Swans - Washago

This afternoon there were about 30 Trumpeter Swans in the open water around Washago Centennial Park. A17 and K96 were together on the shore by the Quetton St. dock, but no cygnets with them this year. The rest were too far out to see any tag numbers.

According to the Ontario Trumpeter Swans Facebook site, A17 is a female first tagged in 2001 at LaSalle Park in Burlington. K96 is a male, first banded in 2014. They had four cygnets in 2016.
