It was snowing heavily around her as she moved, but there was nothing to dampen Brynn’s spirits. She couldn’t be held back, held down if she tried. There was nothing that could keep her from enjoying the snow. It was damp and wet as it came down, leaving the pink lady thankful for her thick coat, and in awe of nature where it stood. The moon would be coming up soon, but was it ever truly dark with all this light surrounding her? Not really.
No, winter evenings were lovely in an eerie sort of way. She trekked easily through the snow, feeling it start to creep higher and higher up her legs. These were fields, broad and flat, and she would be able to truly appreciate it here. Sunset had come on swiftly, covering the snowy earth in a blanket. How delightful that was. How absolutely lovely. There was a soft giggle in her chest as she looked to the sky, in awe of it all. Brilliant red bleeding into the wine dark night. How lovely.
She couldn’t help herself. Brynn curled up at the snow and faced west, watching the stars beginning to flicker on. First one, and then two, and then dozens more. Day faded into night, and she was able to watch it all in absolute awe. Carefully digging herself into the snow, the creature found herself reasonably warm and more than comfortable. Tonight would be a brilliant night of sky watching, and she couldn’t wait.
