Winter had been quite not so much abnormally so. She was proud of Cuirass and even Kweku. The female she brought to him she was almost connived she could tell the changes when she drifted closer to the place he hid her. It was worrisome where his mate had gone but she couldn’t debate that. However, she chose to keep an eye on things. Though gifts, gifts had been very much against the deep that hissed quietly at the thought. Gifts are for the sky, we take what we desire. Yet perhaps she had paid the price of the gift in taking the girl to begin with but even now she was unable to think on it, she had a job to do and very soon an outing to go on and study the things that have been occurring. She also had that distinct ace for a hunt, she needed to find another of her kind, it had only truly been something that sated the ravenous gnawing; at least for a short time.
Her eyes had grown wild, she took the time to prowl and mark the territory. Quiet was not something she trusted in, not unless she was speaking with the deep. Perhaps that would heal some of the agitations she felt until she could hunt and guide her with her next steps. The sun was beginning to set as she finished her rounds. Sekhmet had been very methodical during this time, nothing was perfect until everything was warned away from this place. With one of her duties done she had sifted into a prowl and silent snarl moving towards the shore. While she never minded if her children chose to accompany her, she had certainly moved into a trance-like state. Her paws carried her to her destination yet only instinct was heightened as she moved lost in the deeper thoughts that whispered to her.
