Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

It still baffled Sera that this wolf was so lively with his words. She wasn’t going to complain about being referred to as his love though. It was nice to be so obviously wanted. As they continued the journey, she kept close, never out of reach and when finally they reached the border and Eden emerged to greet them, the female’s tail wagged a bit more animatedly. She’d finally found what she’d been looking for and had brought him home. Even in his current state, her imprint moved to stand protectively before her. Giggling, Sera butted his side lightly with her head then moved slightly to the side, discretely positioning herself where she could view the mouths of both males and stay abreast of the conversation.

“I was searching again. Better luck this time!” Sera replied, ears perked and tail wagging happily. As Eden tossed the vole toward them, Sera stared at it for a moment. Though she was hungry, her imprint needed it more. She began to nose the little critter toward him only to have him tell her to eat. Stubborn but not wanting to delay his eating, she captured the little rodent’s head between her teeth and placing a paw on the body gave a little jerk and a twist. Crunching on the vole’s skull, once she’d finished she gave her brindled man a stern look then nudged the decapitated snack toward him.

Eden’s greeting was perhaps a little aloof but she could hardly blame him. It was a rough winter and they both might as well have been strangers. She’d only come back briefly before finding and losing her imprint. However, her gaze fixed eagerly on the dark wolf’s lips; she would finally know his name! Ah, but alas. Even as her chest swelled and her tail wagged at the declaration, Seraphina groaned inwardly. She didn’t want to admit to not knowing his name after this long. It would be strange...and then he’d know she’d not heard a single word he’d ever said to her. As eloquently as he spoke, she felt that knowing that she couldn’t hear his beautiful words might hurt him somehow.
