STUCK IN YOUR WONDERLAND
His new-found freedom had been snapped away from him and it was... mildly infuriating. Ramos wasn’t quite angry but he wasn’t content either, rather on edge and a little jumpy. His trusting nature had been used against him by Cuirass who had easily lead him over the border and into Asteraia’s paws. They hadn’t mistreated him but he did not feel welcome. There was a near constant watch on him that he did everything in his power to make at ease. The great cream brute did not want a fight or even a warning nip. He had enough scars hidden under his multicolored coat, a fresh one would do a lot more harm than good as a loner.
Of course, that didn’t mean he hadn’t thought of escaping. That thought had passed through his mind a handful of times, but, as many times as they had come up, they were shut down. He still wasn’t entirely sure what his purpose was here as he couldn’t put his faith into anything that came out of the ruddy wolf’s mouth. While avoiding a fight weighed heavy on him, what truly kept him was learning why exactly him. If it was solely Cuirass’s decision or if the alpha had ordered it or if this was something that was simply done in Moladion as a part of its culture. He knew that kidnapping pups was generally frowned upon and that there seemed to be a constant power play between the many packs, but that was the extent of his knowledge of this new world.
And he aimed to change that.
Ramos figured he had enough rapport with his current guard to ask for a little time to stretch his legs. The recent light wash of rains had taken its toll on his shoulder and he needed the walk to really stretch the limb back out. It took few good minutes of convincing and a detailed plan of just how he was to go about his stroll before he was allowed to leave the immediate vicinity. Upon getting the permission, he bowed his head, and left at a light lope to circle around the nearby soft, rolling hills. He was hoping to catch someone out and about, someone from Asteraia who might hold a conversation with him who he can trust a little more than the wolf who had imprisoned him.
