Re(2): North Miami Amateur Practice- Calder Connection? Posted on January 7, 2019 at 11:27:30 PM by Jesus
LOL All in good fun Bennet, we call each other names and bug each other in practice. When in tournaments and leagues everyone behaves. No throat slashing or weird signature moves :-)
I've just heard rumors, nothing concrete, but the court should be 15 feet longer and at least the same height as NM, which is substantially higher than Magic City, I think it will play very nice. Again, it is by no means a regulation size court, I think everyone knows by now only a NUT would build a real court when it is allowed to build a smaller court. BUT... It is not glass with a rubber ball, and it is the preferred amateur size, meaning I hope people come out, see it, fall in love and start playing or learning how to play again.
Back in the 80's that 90 feet court at NM was full ALL the time. The hardball had it's days, but definitely more amateurs played the 90 feet with less danger and less cost and less cesta repairs.
I will be interested in how things go at Calder, I hope they give a good effort to make something interesting. Replies:
