MPFN Meeting Jan. 17

We're less than a week away from the next meeting of the
Midland-Penetanguishene Field Naturalists Thurs. Jan. 17, 2019 7:30 PM Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre MPFN Members FREE; Non-members and guests are asked to consider making a $5 donation
Our Guest Speaker Justin Peter
ANTARCTICA: THE WHITE CONTINENT

Justin is Quest Nature Tours' Director of Programs and Senior Naturalist, Vice President of the Toronto Ornithological Club and the moderator of the popular Facebook group Ontario Birds. Justin was previously the Senior Naturalist at Ontario’s world-renowned Algonquin Park, where he coordinated the park’s interpretive program and acted as lead howler for the celebrated Public Wolf Howl events. An avid student of geography, history and languages, in addition to nature, he enjoys finding the stories behind what we see and sharing them with others.

ANTARCTICA: THE WHITE CONTINENT
Considered by some to be the last great wilderness, Antarctica and the surrounding waters defy our everyday concepts of space and time. Join Justin on an illustrated exploration of this special environment to discover the paradox of desolation and abundance to be found here. It is much more than just penguins!
