Her children were growing into their own, rather clever and delightful. Even now she kept an eye on them and grew curious about their comings and goings, mischievous yearlings that they were. Sekhmet had grown to question if they were ready for a hunt of their own kind and so she had decided to propose it to them. If they so chose to join her, Sekhmet would delight in teaching her children the lesson of taking and aid them in fulfilling their nature if cannibalism was something they sought out. Looking out to the horizon the behemoth woman tilted her head back and called out for her family that desired her company this day.
Now under the red-hued sunrise, all that was left to do was wait though it was often hard for her to keep still. Even now she found herself roaming a short distance away from her den down to the coastline. This spot was perhaps her most beloved spot in all of Asteria. While she discounted the memories of her youth perhaps she could now look forward to creating something new with her own children, her own pack. It would be a lie to say she wasn't happy, however, Sekhmet knew that the still calm place would only bring disaster if she basked in these moments for too long.
