His body was violently shoved out of the nice warm space he had shared with three others. He grumbled as he smacked against the ground whimpering and whining. He could hear muffled sounds of his siblings, but couldn’t actually make out words. However he did feel something grab him, lick him up and down cleaning him off.

His instincts started to kick in as what he could assume was his carrier pushed him towards what would give him substance. He suckled and drank until his stomach was full and he scampered and pulled himself away before whining for the warmth that covered him before and he wanted to be back there. It was still slightly cold since the winter weather was still slipping away. He felt something pull him backwards and into warmth. He yawned slightly before nestling down and getting comfortable.

He felt others be pushed against him and warmth radiated against him. A name was whispered in his ear. ”Brynjar, the youngest of the litter, but you are just as devilish as the rest. Your name means Warrior in Armor. You should grow into that name nicely.” With that he new his name. Brynjar, a warrior in armor. What would that even mean? His little mind couldn’t wrap around what that was or could be meaning. That didn’t matter now, he was simply tired and wanted to sleep. If his eyes were open he would have closed them before falling into a deeper darkness, but alas his eyes were closed and yet the darkness seeped farther into his mind and helped lull him into a quiet oblivion.
