Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Matianak could tell Triton was not thrilled with some of the information she had given him. Yet it did not seem to wholly crush his heart. No matter. It was a minor thing in the grand scheme at the moment. All the same, she had indeed been busy. Not with just the children, but the changes in Iromar had been important to note. Then of course her venture to Asteraia again. The grey woman made a mental note to go back without the children. After all, there were quite a few curiosities in the plains, not just the father of her pups.

"He is in Asteraia. It was time for them to meet him. I may not have an emotional attachment to him, but it would be unfair to the children to keep them from him," she replied, as well as adding a bit more information that might put Triton's mind at ease just a little bit. Matianak really didn't have an emotional attachment to anyone, though there were those she preferred company to than others. Yet if they fell of the face of the earth, the woman would just shrug and carry on with her life. Such was the way things went.

"What about you Triton, what have you been up to lately?" she asked in an attempt to steer the conversation towards him and away from the results of her winter... antics.
