Re(1): Pine Grosbeaks and Bohemian Waxwings in Barrie Posted on January 27, 2019 at 11:33:36 PM by Darlene Deemert
A Sharp-shinned hawk seems to have dispersed the Pine Grosbeaks completely from Watson Dr. I have since found them periodically at 111 Trevino Circle and 58 Nicklaus Dr. and other spots on Nicklaus. The Bohemian Waxwings have been seen at 113 Cardinal St and other places on Cardinal st. Also at 111 Trevino. 130 of them were chased out of a tree by the Sharp-shinned hawk at 13 Watson Dr today! My specific sightings (dates and times) plus my photos of these 2 species can be found on ebird. Replies: There have been no replies.
