Peter, the idea of forming a political pary has been floated before. The reality is that there are not enough ex ADF people, or enough people in the general public, who care enough to be bothered and even if they did the numbers would be small in population percentage terms. That, I think, is one of the reasons that the unfairness of how DFRDB and service pensions of any sort are indexed has not been addressed. We just don't count mate and so we just have to live with what we have it seems to me. I note Mr Shorten is looking to get into us with cash refunds of franking credits being abolished as well as other discriminatory measures against those who have managed to be self funded in retirement. Robin Hood (aka Bill Shorten) and the merry band of Sherwood Forrest inhabitants (aka the ALP) are lurking ready to rip us off even further. Replies: There have been no replies.
