Northern Goshawk
This Accipiter flew across the yard North to South, landing about 50 feet up into treetop. It stayed for a few minutes, looking around, then flew off. A few minutes later, it flew back and landed more or less in the same spot. Pictures were taken through window as it looked around from this perch. Gray barring appears to be fine, indicating female (?) This area provides a feeding ground of Ruffed Grouse, Red and Black Squirrels and Rabbits.
